On behalf of a prestigious private bank based in Geneva we are looking to hire a:

DESK HEAD WEALTH MANAGEMENT TURKEY

Purpose of the role:

To strengthen our desk senior coverage and supporting our team of client advisors who are looking after the Bank's Turkish clients out of Geneva, we are looking for an experienced, ambitious and energic

Your responsibilities:

  • The complete running (acquiring, motivating, retaining) of our High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth team of Client Advisors including full P/L responsibility for a team of approximatively 20 staff
  • Formulating business plans and strategies for the Desk, consistent with global plans
  • Implementing and monitoring the application of processes, guidelines and best practices according to legal & compliance requirements and sales efficiency standards
  • Supporting client advisors in their client relationship function, both through support in the booking center as well as in Turkey
  • Growing our business in Turkey by leading sales and acquisition meetings, supporting the transformation of prospects into clients as well as coaching the client advisors according to their seniority
  • Monitoring and analyzing of the desk and its client advisors' results and taking appropriate actions
  • Developing a close network of relations with the Istanbul representative office

Your profile:

  • Several years of banking experience within a Wealth Management environment with an excellent track record in dealing directly with clients
  • Affinity to global markets, understanding of clients' product needs
  • Good understanding of Wealth Management processes and risk management approach in a challenging global environment
  • Excellent communicator/integrator with strong ability to manage, motivate and coach a team with a willingness to get personally involved in the desk's growth efforts
  • Highly organized, systematic thinker, very driven and results-oriented person with strong sales skills
  • Fluent English and French are a must; Turkish would be a plus but is not mandatory
  • Existing connections and/or a strong network building capacity in the Turkish market would be an asset but are not essential to be successful in this role
