On behalf of an International Company based in Lausanne, we are currently looking for an:

INTERNATIONAL LEGAL COUNSEL

Reports to the General Counsel

Your responsibilities:

• Principal focus will be to provide the legal support to the company
• Enjoy a large variety of legal work
• Handle all legal aspects relating to the company’s, with support from other colleagues of the Legal Department or outside specialist counsel, as appropriate

Your profile:

• Several years of relevant work experience, preferably acquired within a leading law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international (industrial) company
• A sound knowledge of contract and commercial law concepts (civil and/or common law) and their application to business practice
• Experience in project work and the ability to successfully and independently manage the legal aspects of complex international projects
• Some experience in public procurement work would be desirable
• An excellent command of the English language (drafting skills) is essential; fluent in Spanish; French and other language skills are a plus but not essential
• Readiness to travel for project work on a worldwide basis
• Postgraduate education (LL.M or similar) is desirable
• Hands-on and solution-oriented, as well as pragmatic and discreet
• A good personality is very important, in order to fully integrate into an existing team of legal professionals and a dynamic business environment
